 Eleanor Clift is a contributing editor for Newsweek magazine. She reports on the White House\, presidential politics\, and a variety of national issues.  Her column\, \\"Capitol Letter\,\\" is posted each week on Newsweek.com and MSNBC.com.  Clift is a regular panelist on the nationally syndicated show\, The McLaughlin Group. Clift's latest book\, \\"Two Weeks of Life\,\\" tells the parallel stories of her husband's death at home with hospice alongside the national debate over the right to die of a young brain-damaged woman named Terri Schiavo (Basic Books 2008.)  Clift is also the author of \\"Founding Sisters and the 19th Amendment\\" (Wiley 2003) which tells the story of the long struggle for women to gain the right to vote.  The book accompanied the HBO movie\, \\"Iron Jawed Angels\,\\" starring Hillary Swank and Anjelica Houston.</p>

DESCRIPTION:<p>John Stossel joined the <a href=\\"http\://abcnews.go.com/2020/Stossel\\">ABC NEWS newsmagazine 20/20</a> in 1981 and began doing one-hour primetime specials in 1994. The specials\, which have consistently rated among the top news programs when broadcast\, have earned Stossel uncommon praise\: \\"The most consistently thought-provoking TV reporter of our time\\"\, said the Dallas Morning News.<br />

 In a new segment for 20/20 called \\"Give Me a Break\,\\" Stossel has taken skeptical looks at people who want to censor cartoons\, regulate flagpoles and have Congress rule on what prices are \\"fair.\\"  Stossel has received 19 Emmy Awards.<br />
 He has been honored five times for excellence in consumer reporting by the National Press Club.  Among his other awards are the George Polk Award for Outstanding Local Reporting and the George Foster Peabody Award.</p>
